XProdLab provides sheet metal fabrication services covering prototype prototyping, low-volume pilot production and batch delivery, suitable for chassis cabinets, enclosure panels, mounting brackets, equipment guards, vent plates, bases, guide rails, reinforcements and sheet metal structural assemblies.
Commonly used sheet metal fabrication techniques include:
- Laser cutting: suitable for complex contours, rapid prototyping, and small and medium-sized batch blanking of plates
- CNC stamping/turret punching: suitable for regular hole positions, ventilation holes, louver holes and batch hole processing
- CNC bending: suitable for forming shells, brackets, frames and multi-fold structures
- Welding processing (MIG/TIG/spot welding)
- Riveting/Press riveting (PEM): Suitable for nuts, studs, fasteners and assembly structures
- Sheet metal forming, stretching, flanging and local reinforcement
- Powder spraying, painting, wire drawing, anodizing, electroplating and other surface treatments and sheet metal assembly
After the customer uploads the 2D/3D drawings, the engineer will match the appropriate process route based on material, plate thickness, quantity, tolerance, appearance and delivery time requirements.
